The usual from Etnies. Quality. The Arto might just be the best skate shoe to ever grace this fragile planet of ours. I also work in this shoe. It's really really sweet on the feet. I should take a photo of my used shoes and put it up for you all to see, but you might think I'm kinda weird cause I have one really purple shoe lace in one shoe and a black lace in the other shoe. It just happend to look really good to me. Don't ask me why.
My first impression of the Penza was they are nice on the eyes. My second was that they made my feet hurt and gave me a blister on my small toe. Usually Lakai has always made me happy. I must have gotten a bum pair of shoes. I only took them out 3 times and couldn't skate in them any longer. So there you have it. A crappy review.

This is a very thin shoe. It's really fun to skate in and do Japan airs cause you can bone the heck outta those things in these things. I think you can almost feel the board with them on. What control. unfortunately they are thin and don't last as long as some of the beefier skate shoes on the market. I guess it all depends on what type of skating you do.
So these shoes are amazing. They skate like a dream and are super comfy, have really good board feel and are made like a mountain. I've done mostly park riding in these and they have held up well. The STI foam is very durable, comfy and also it does hold your heel very well. I have gotten lots of compliments at dinner parties, social events, keggers, and from a logging crew in Oregon about how good looking these shoes are. If you don't believe me ask the ArkAngel brotherhood for logcutters, they'll let you know how it goes.

These shoes really make me feel celtic. Because of the plaid. But really this is my favorite Circa shoe yet. It has tons of features like fusion grip rubber, a removable ankle strap - which was nice, C-1 Reflex heel gel spot which works as good as any others out there. I don't know what the Stroble shoe construction does but I guess that helped. Circa has made a great looking shoe, that really performs well.
