The DC Josh Kalis is as good a shoe as DC has ever put out. But I don't like how the SUPER SUEDE held when I skated. The Thermoplastic urethane heel stabilizer does a great job for holding my foot and was super comfy. I felt in control of my deck with this feature. My feet also felt really good after a good skate session because of the airbag midsole that is so popular in most of their shoes. The new DGI rubber outsole really didn't hold up to well however, and seemed to sticky for me. But I'm sure alot of you will really dig this new rubber outsole that DC is running. This is a super tech shoe, and DC has always made quality products, but just seems to miss on some points. Maybe next time.
I have owned alot of DC's over the past 10 years and have to say they all have fallen apart faster than any other shoe I've ever had. The section right by my pinky toes allways rips with in two sessions of skating. And those fu*&ing air pockets are bullsh*t they allways pop. The only way I use DC's now is if I need to mow the lawn.Cause they are garbage, but they look good but they suck I guess use could use them for tennis or playing music that probably won't hurt them to bad. but I would'nt buy them to skate in for sure.
A loyal dc customer says -- dc shoes suck! written by anonymous, September 26, 2009
I have been wearing dc shoes since a few years after they came on the market. Yes, they do all fall apart. The Dyrdek 2, Legacy, Elixir, Evolution, Cozmo, Premiere, etc, etc. They all suck. Their was one good pair of snowboard boots that were super comfortable, but they 2 fell apart. I liked the Kalis SE (JK7), but they fell apart as well. I ordered another pair of the JK7, but they don't fit the same, and are really uncomfortable. "F" DC. Seeing as how these shoes are all garbage, I'm just going to buy my shoes at wal-mart....at least they are super cheap.
